Library Catalog Basics Online

This webinar will introduce students to the basics of conducting research using Primo, the Dallas College Libraries’ online catalog. Students will learn how to successfully navigate and search the library catalog for various types of information sources including books and eBooks, scholarly journal articles, streaming videos and more.  

After attending this webinar students will be able to: 

  • Locate and access information sources using the library catalog. 
  • Use features of the catalog to narrow a search by subject matter, type of source, or date of publication. 
  • Generate citations for sources they discover using the library catalog.
