Finding Reliable Sources Online
This webinar will introduce students to finding reliable sources through the library catalog and selected databases offered by Dallas College. Students will gain an understanding of effective keywords and search terms, including how to use Boolean operators and how to filter results through various parameters in order to find sources that are best suited to their research needs.
After attending this webinar, students will be able to:
- Locate and access information sources using the library catalog and databases
- Understand how to create effective keywords and search terms
- Use filters to narrow down results by publication date, source type and more
