Finding Peer Reviewed Sources Online

This webinar introduces students to peer reviewed sources, often called scholarly sources, and how to find them in the library catalog and databases. It will cover what distinguishes peer reviewed articles from other resources and how to identify them. Learn how to choose search terms and limit searches to find peer reviewed articles relevant to your topic.

After this webinar, students will be able to:

  • Distinguish peer reviewed resources from other resources
  • Understand the role of peer reviewed sources in academic writing
  • Use search terms and limiters to find relevant peer reviewed articles in the databases
