Researching Primary and Secondary Resources Online
This webinar introduces students to the basics of navigating library databases and understanding the differences between primary and secondary resources. In this webinar, students will learn how to use the Dallas College databases to find primary and secondary resources, and how to tell the difference between the two resources.
After this webinar, students will be able to:
- Locate and access information sources using research databases.
- Understand basic searching, advanced searching, and database tools.
- Build an effective search strategy.
- Understand the differences between primary and secondary sources
- Learn how to locate primary and secondary sources through the DC databases
